This is a service-area business. Here is exactly what that means, what you get instead of a yard to walk into, and why it usually works out cheaper.
There is no public yard. Containers come from depot stock and go straight from the depot to your address, on one truck movement rather than two. That removes a double handling and a set of yard overheads, and the saving turns up in the delivered price.
What you give up is the ability to walk around a row of containers and pick one. That is a real thing to give up, and we replace it with photographs of the actual unit allocated to your job, on request and before delivery. Marks, repairs and shipping-line paint included — photographed as they are rather than composed around.
Why we are direct about itPlenty of businesses in this trade imply a yard they do not have. We would rather say it plainly on a page you can find than have you drive somewhere and find a locked gate.
OneYou ring, or send the form. We ask what is going inside, where it is going, and what the ground and the approach look like. Three photographs speed this up enormously.
TwoWe tell you the grade the job needs, the size that will physically get there, and the vehicle. If the size you asked for will not fit down your driveway, you hear that now rather than on the day.
ThreeYou get one figure with the cartage in it. Not a container price and a freight bill a fortnight later.
FourIf you want photographs of the specific unit, ask — they are sent before delivery. Then we book a truck and you prepare the pad.
FiveIt arrives, it goes exactly where you agreed, and somebody is there to make sure of it.
